Nicky Morgan Inspires Teachers

Imagine you are responsible for an education service comprising 500,000 professional teachers that you want to encourage to greater heights. These people are at the chalk-face and without them your reforms are dead in the water. Unfortunately you have no experience of State Education yourself or of managing a large organisation. In fact you actively despise teachers. This is how you might do it.

Education Secretary Nicky Morgan was invited to speak at the NASUWT's teaching conference where she told teachers that all schools will become academies - and that teachers should be more positive to stop young people being put off a career in teaching.
